Included with your domains

Your domain stays yours, your details stay private

Every registration publishes your contact details in the public WHOIS directory by default. WHOIS protection replaces them with a relay address: you remain the domain holder, without exposing your name, address or phone number.

  • Contact details hidden from the public directory

  • Relay address so you stay reachable

  • Switch it on or off at any time

Why hide these details

How it works

What protection does not change

  • You remain the legal holder of the domain: protection hides the public display, it transfers no rights.

  • The registry, your registrar and the competent authorities keep access to your real contact details.

  • Some country extensions require all or part of the details to be published: protection then applies within the limits allowed by the registry.

  • The domain keeps working exactly the same: DNS, email and search ranking are unaffected.

Protect your details from your next domain onwards

WHOIS protection is included at no extra cost with domain names registered with Systalink.

Most are. Some country registries require all or part of the holder's details to be published: protection then applies within the limits they allow, and we tell you before you register.

No. Protection is simply switched off for the duration of an outbound transfer, because the registry needs the holder's email to validate it. It is turned back on afterwards.
